Holwell Scarecrow Festival

Votes Are Now Closed!

The scarecrows are leaving Holwell.

The votes have been counted and first place went to Hayley Springham's incredible "Jungle Scene" (Scarecrow #10). A very close second (by one vote!) went to Vikki Sparks's wonderful "Very Hungry Caterpillar" (Scarecrow #30). Third place was Ali Lyon's "Queen and Paddington" (Scarecrow #18).

We'll be counting the school scarecrow votes tomorrow, and we'll announce the winner of that as soon as we can. We'll also have a total of funds raised as soon as the hospice have counted the donations.

Thanks so much to you all. You can still donate DONATE HERE to help the hospice.
Once again, we are supporting the The Garden House Hospice. We raised over £2,600 for them last year, thanks to your generosity, an incredible amount of money.
Look HERE for pictures of this year's scarecrows, but better still come and see them for yourselves. If you'd like to help us, you can DONATE HERE!

This is Holwell’s 6th Scarecrow Festival. We really hope to see you here!

You can see the entries from previous years here: 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021

As we did last year, we're going to display the scarecrows for a whole week, but TODAY IS OUR LAST DAY! Everyone can have a chance to walk around our lovely little village and hunt scarecrows. For those who are not able to come to the festival, we have photographs of this year's entries HERE. You can go to our giving site to vote for your favourite and make a donation to the hospice. If voting on-line is difficult for you then we have somewhere safe you can leave your vote and donation at our voting booth on Pirton Road.
